Email Profit Book 200 Dont Stop Til Theyve Had Enough

The fortune is in the followup. Sending just one or two emails to your list, whether you bought it, or built it yourself, will get you nowhere. People need to get used to hearing from you, and even then, only 20% or fewer (maybe *lots* fewer!) of them will open any given email, or any of your emails at all.

Advertising researchers say that most sales (and even if you are giving away a freebie, it’s still a “sale” in the sense that your subscriber took action recommended by you) occur after the prospect has seen the ad or the product itself at least 5 to 7 times.

Don’t just send out one promo and quit. Send follow up emails at least once, if not three or four more times over the next few days. Email marketing experts suggest that you send the very same email several times, with just a change to the Subject line. The more sophisticated track who opens each email, and they send it again the next day only to the portion of the list who did not open it the first time.

People who do this consistently say that it can easily double or triple their sales, both for their own products, and for products they promote as affiliates. I’ve done it myself and seen my email marketing sales commissions go up significantly.

Will it work for you, in your market? How will you know until you try?
